White Pearl Barley Water

  • 150g Pearl Barley
  • 2 Litres Water
  • sugar to taste

Put Barley in a pot. Add in water and bring to boil. Lower fire and simmer for one hour. Add sugar to taste. Strain in a jug and serve hot or cold.

For variation, you may add in some lemon juice for extra flavour.
